Feedback to students on their reflective assignments in a lecture series with the field’s leading experts.

The lecture series Expert Block (Blok expertů) offers, at the Department of Information and Library Studies (KISK), a unique connection between the academic world and expert practice. The series is designed as an exclusive run of lectures where leading figures in the field of information studies meet experts from transdisciplinary areas to share their experience with students and the wider public.

Within this series I worked as a tutor, a role on the boundary between pedagogical support and keeping the lectures running smoothly. I was responsible for direct communication with students and provided them with regular feedback on their reflective assignments, helping to deepen their understanding of the topics covered. On-site, I then looked after the interactive flow of the lectures and assisted with questions from the audience.

This role allowed me to be at the centre of things, where the field’s trends are formed, while directly supporting students in getting the most out of the lectures for their further professional direction.
