since 2025 ČT edu: teaching materials for media education
70+ research summaries and teaching tips and 30 ready-made worksheets.
When Czech Television decided to place greater emphasis on media literacy on its educational portal ČT Edu, I joined the newly forming team.
Since then, I’ve worked on the portal in an expert and authoring role. I do my own research and design new worksheets, while also providing expert oversight of the other people on the team who create methodologies for the portal. This ensures that every output precisely connects expert knowledge with the everyday reality of schools.
To date, my work has produced more than 70 research summaries and teaching tips, plus 30 finished worksheets. The materials cover five thematic areas: social media and digital wellbeing, disinformation and media manipulation, independent journalism and press freedom, media literacy fundamentals, and hands-on media education. Practitioners now have concrete tools in hand for safely opening up complex topics with students, without needing lengthy preparation.
