Psychology in online education

This course represents a unique intersection of educational psychology, learning design, and UX, taught at this scope exclusively at KISK, Masaryk University. It connects theoretical foundations with the world of digital learning objects and processes, focusing on how psychological factors affect learning effectiveness in an online environment.

My role as tutor was key to the personal growth of 20 students throughout the semester. Every week, I provided personalised feedback, choosing guiding questions over direct answers to encourage deeper reflection on the topics. I also contributed to the design of the final project, and as a panel member at the colloquia, I assessed how well students could translate theoretical concepts into functional digital solutions.

The goal isn’t simply absorbing theory, but developing the ability to critically evaluate existing courses and design your own learning processes that respect people’s cognitive limits and needs in the digital world.
